How to Migrate from Freshping to StatusPulse
Freshping shut down on March 6, 2026. If you built your uptime monitoring around Freshping — 1-minute checks, multi-location alerts, public status pages — StatusPulse covers everything Freshping did, and migration takes under 10 minutes.

Freshping's free tier was genuinely exceptional: 50 monitors, 1-minute check intervals, 10 global check locations, and 5 public status pages — all without a credit card. When the shutdown hit, most “alternatives” offered worse free tiers (5-minute checks, no status pages) or pricing built for enterprise teams.
StatusPulse is built for exactly the same audience Freshping served: developers and founders who need reliable, simple uptime monitoring without per-seat pricing or DevOps complexity.

How to Migrate in Under 10 Minutes
Step 1: Sign Up for StatusPulse
Go to statuspulse.app/signup and create your account. No credit card required. The entire signup flow takes about 30 seconds — enter your email, set a password, done.
Step 2: Add Your First Monitor
- 1. From the dashboard, click + Add Monitor
- 2. Enter a Name (e.g. “My API” or “Production App”)
- 3. Paste the URL you were monitoring in Freshping
- 4. Optionally add an Alert Email for down/up notifications
- 5. Click Create Monitor
StatusPulse will begin checking your URL every 60 seconds immediately. Multi-location false-positive protection is on by default — you won't get paged for a blip from a single region.
Step 3: Configure Alerts
Email alerts are set per monitor when you create it. Add your email in the monitor form.
Webhook alerts are available on all plans. From the dashboard, scroll to the Webhooks section, click + Add Webhook, enter your URL (Slack, Discord, PagerDuty, or any custom endpoint), and click Create Webhook. All down/up events fire to that webhook automatically.
Step 4: Set Up Your Public Status Page
Every monitor in StatusPulse gets a public status page automatically — no extra setup required. From the monitor card in your dashboard, click Public status page → to see its URL:
https://statuspulse.app/status/{your-monitor-slug}Note: Freshping allowed 5 separate status pages for grouping multiple services. StatusPulse currently provides one page per monitor.
Step 5: Embed Your Status Badge (Optional)
From any monitor card, click Embed badge to get the Markdown snippet for your README or landing page:

Monitor count on free tier
Freshping's 50-monitor free tier is not matched. StatusPulse free covers 3 monitors; Pro ($9/mo) gives you 20.
Multi-status-page grouping
Freshping's 5-page model was great for agencies. StatusPulse currently does one page per monitor.
Visual/screenshot monitoring
Freshping had a visual monitoring mode. StatusPulse is HTTP/TCP uptime monitoring only.
